I have files from my old computer that are stored on a Verbatim Ditto Max 3 GB cartridge. I bought an Iomega 10 GB External Ditto Max Tape Drive. When I tried to read the cartridge, it gave me an error message "Tape drive reports no tape in drive. Error 5002." Eventhough, I inserted the cartridge into the drive. The cartridge has not been used for a couple of years. Does it need to be cleaned or despooled? If so, how do I go about doing that? I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
