I have perused the archives and been unable to find any information on the Bolt (Sony Superstation) and Windows ME. This has been working for me under Windows 98SE but I have recently upgraded to Windows ME. Now I am unable to complete any tape operations. Attempts to Init/Format/Write all fail with an error. (Unfortunately I do not have it available. I beleive that it was something like xx-xx-xx-xx-4500.) I will verify this tonight and reply.
Has anyone successfully used this device on Windows ME? I have seen several reports about NT and 2000, but cannot find anything about ME.
I am not sure if I have a driver problem or a software problem. I have been using Backup Exec 2.01j and Microsoft Backup (which I think is Backup Exec 4.x?). Both fail in the same way.
