For the ones who are struggling with a Ditto Max (without much support from Iomega or Tecmar)...
I found the backup program for it on the Iomega site, as well as a test for (floppy-interface) speed, which is essential!
Unfortunately I was fobbed off with a drive *without* the Ditto Dash accelerator card (Internal Tapedrive).
Long story, shortened: I contacted EXABYTE and bought a Eagle (2MBit) accelerator card, as I cannot get the Ditto Dash ANYWHERE! Installed it in a Win98 box, configured the thing manually and with the Iomega software am now making backup :-)
However, trying this in a Win2Kpro box (first..) failed; the card "needs" drivers that are not available as it is supposed to be P&P.
Maybe this info is of use to some other struggling souls out there :-)
