HP surestore 2600fx driver required

I need a driver for a HP surestore 2600fx optical storage device for win98, NT or 2000.
The disks we have contain valuable information but when we try to pull this info off the system says that the disks are not formatted, which they are.
Can someone please help and advise me of what I need to do. Thanks...
