Hello,
I want to write a generalized SCSI tape restoration software, through which one can restore and write files in raw format.
But, i am facing problem in restoration of a tape on NT platform (tape is recorded on linux)
I have tested tape recorded on NT is working fine NT Platform as well as in linux platform.
I want to know if i am missing something
Here is my steps to write data on tape:
-->Write VOL block
-->Write HDR1 block
-->write HDR2 block
-->write TAPEMARK==================
*******Data starts from here******
-->write individual files seperated by TAPEMARKS
.....
*******Data starts from here******
-->write TAPEMARK==================
-->write EOF1
-->write EOF2
