For those looking for a driver for Archive Corporation 31250Q...this works:
In Windows 98, first make sure Microsoft Backup is installed (Start>>Programs>>Accessories>>System Tools>>Backup). If not, use Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel>>Windows Setup>>System Tools>>Details>>Backup. You will need your Win98 Install CD.

Once installed, the tape drive will be recognized automatically upon reboot as Conner QIC-80. Use Device Manager to confirm successful installation.

Then use Microsoft Backup tool to put the drive into use...for backup/restore/etc.

I've seen lots of request for this info. Hope this helps someone out there. Lemme know...
