This drive is a 4GB Native 8GB compressed Dat Drive that uses 4mm DDS2 tapes 120m
If you get a backup program like arcserve / veritas / or many otthers on the market they will come with their own tape drivers to accomodate this drive.

: : What type/size of tape is needed for this drive? I recently took over a system and don't have any documentation. I tried a 4mm dat (12MB) tape, but the drive just spits it out.

: DDS DG90P 2.0GB Native capacity work ok
: Actually , I am in a similar position to you, I have just applied power to one of these units under win95, Do you know where I can get a driver ??
