I resently bought an CTD8000 streamer via EBAY. UNder
Win98 it works fine. But a have switched to Windows2000
now. UNder Win2k the STreamer is correctly recogniced
as "ARCHIE Phyton 2635-XXX". But I cannot format or
write to any of my tape (the seam goes for fresh new
tapes). If I try to format tape via the win2k
exchangeable media service (I do not know exactly how
the "wechselmediendienst" ist labled in english win2k
versions) windows says "tape writeprotected" - though
the writeprotect switch for any of my tapes is off?

ANy one knows help ?
