According to Seagate Technology ( ) there are no stand alone tape drivers for their tape drives.

All drivers for Seagate and earlier Conner manufactured tape drives are incorporated parts of the backup software you are using. This tape drive model CTT8000 should be supported by the Microsoft Backup provided with Windows 98 and by Backup Exec for Windows 95/98/NT Workstation for use in a Windows 98 environment since the introduction of version 2.0i.

You may opt to look into other backup software. In which case simply make certain that this drive is supported by whatever version of software you choose to employ.

: I just swapped our backup tape drive into another computer and have subsequently lost the install disk for the drive
: all i need are the drivers for the ctt8000 seagate tape drive
: Please help if you can
