: I have a archive python 27807 xxx tape drive
: for a few years and havent used it for a quite while.

: 1. what is the largest capacity of 4mm tape I can use?
: I found in the store, there are 2-4 giga, 4-8 giga
: and 12-24 giga etc.
: 2. The tape drive is external and
: was used for UNIX. Now I tried to
: link it to PC with NT. I hooked it up to a scci
: card. but it does not have any response.

: Any help would be really appreciated.

you need to open the actual external unit up and take out the tape unit, underneath is the Seagate model number
