I think we are in the same boat... I have some old tapes with important
information (3m, DC2120 minicartridge tapes, Rhomat format), backed up
in 1990, 91, 92 ,93 ,94. I try to restore them with a Conner (I
think...) TapeStor 420 TD, with Conner "Backup Exec 2.0" software for
win3.x (the win95 version and followings are property of Seagate). It
restores me 32 volumes in each tape but I know there are more volumes in
each tape not recognized by the software... So I buy an Irwin TD A250
with "EzTape 2.2" software. I have just received it yesterday, I connect
it and it partially works... it recognizes more volumes but I haven't
been able to restore them to the moment. I'm using a win95 platform but
going directly to DOS not opening WIN95 anyway it gives me a "Disk load
error: Invalid drive"... I think it's because of the platform and that
maybe I have to reconstruct the original environment (Intel 386DX,
MS-DOS 3.x).

Please give me a comment...

Some of the good "comrades" from the posting give me a lot of support at
the beginning... like Rish, the one is giving you a follow up... sorry
for the english...
