A ordinary floppy cable will do it.
Remember to fit the red side of the cable to pin 1 on the iomegastreamer. When you fit the cable to the floppy cable, connect red to red.

Go to iomega.com and download the file "iodetect.exe".
This utility will test your floppy controller.
NB : Newer ditto's can't run on older computers because the standard floppy controller on the main board is too slow. ( also some early pentium computers )1 MB transfer is absolute minimum.
If the motherboard cant handle this, then you must buy a controller card.
Ask your dealer if you can use a non iomega controller card first...

I have searched ALOT tonight for the driver to
"IOMEGA TAPE 250". At the end I did found out that IOMEGA calls this streamer for "DITTO 250".
It's ONE file to download for the new and the old DITTO drives -- ( W95-W98 ) included the "tape250"

Here's the link :
ftp://download.iomega.com/pub/english/ditto98.exe
6.58 MB download

I do hope this is correct - I'm downloading this file right now. Well - Iomega said so.

: hi i have iomega 250 i`ve just finish downloading drivers for it when i installed them i saw "You not have connected any drivers"

: this drive has a 34pin connector i`ve connect it to the floppy cable is that correct ? or i need a controler for it ?
