I had the same problem at work. Kept my old machine and restored files from the tape backup and then I moved the files over the network to my new PC.
You might be able to restore some of the files on the machine with the old OS Win95/98 to a CDR disk for moving the files to your new PC. I wasn't happy when I heard from Iomega that they weren't going to be supporting the DITTO on Win2000 either.
