: I have a DAT drive that Windows ME identifies
: as a "WangDAT Model 3400DX" and I was wondering
: if drivers existed to use this hardware with
: Microsoft Backup under Windows 9x.SCSI tapes is not supported under Win9x.
The reason why it showes up under "other devices"
is that your SCSI-host's BIOS identifies it, but
Win9x still doesnt know how to deal with it.
Win NT4 should be able to work with it.:I would prefer Windows ME drivers, but I also
:have available to me Win98 and Win98SE.I have absolutely _no_ idea if ME will support
SCSI-tape's as I quit using M$ software at
the time win98 came out... *s*;^}
