Hi:I'm having a computer problem. Everythign was okay last night. This morning, I have no audio. I did all the obvious things. Checked wires, plugs, cords, etc. Volume control. Mute, etc. Rebooted. Checked properties on the master volume. I use a Master Riptide PCI Audio Device. I deleted the device and rebooted and the computer found and installed the device again. Still same problem. When I go into control panel, and click on Multimedia, and then devices and then aduio devices. I double click on that and it brings up three lines, all saying AUDIO FOR RIPTIDE WAVE I/O. When I click on the first two, they say DRIVER IS ENABLED BUT INACTIVE DUE TO AN UNKNOWN PROBLEM.

Everything was fine last evening when I put it on standby. I also ran a complete VIRUS SCAN check on the entire computer and nothing. Virus Scan is up to date and current.

Any ideas? Please e-mail me. Thanks

Gerry
