I have a PC Chips Motherboard with integrated C-Media 8738 Sound. I used the new driver installation from their site. Device Manager reports the Sound Driver properly, but shows an unsupported "Multimedia Controller" and "PCI Simple Communications" Driver. I also tried removing that and using the Win2K installation posted earlier by C-Media.

If I want to put a Sound Blaster Live Value Card in, do I need to set a jumper on the motherboard to disable the C-Media hardware? I have a leftover card around.
Thanks.
