Ok guys, i had the same problem, here is what worked for me..go to control panel..select multimedia....click on the audio tab.....in the sound playback box, click the "advanced" button. now the "advanced audio properties" box will be open...ok, click the performance tab... ok, the "hardware acceleration" slider switch will probably be set to "full"...slide it back 2 spaces so it reads "basic acceleration" then click apply ...and now ....... you should be "cured"... let me know how you all make out
