I have a Primax Colorado Direct 9600, and have recently added office xp to my computer which runs Windows ME. My scanner now displays the error message "Printer port is busy now. Please try again later" when I try to scan through taskbridge, and I also recive error messages through Microsoft Powerpoint.

I have unistalled and reinstalled both the scanner, and the printer, but with no success.

I was therefore wondering, is it problem with the scanner driver, or is the problem elsewhere
