: I have tried to install a Microtek Scanmaker e6 on my windows me machine, and for some reasom I can not get it to work. I can Install the driver from the microtek site, and I hear the scanner go wirr wirr when that happens. But when I try to run it keep coming up with the scsi interface. My pc does not have a scsi interface, I have the damn thing plugged into the parallel port. I have also made sure that the cmos settings are set to epp.

: Help !

when you install the program (driver) it should ask what you atre using scsi, or parallel. if you don't tell it or the setup program doesn't ask it will default to scsi. i think there is actually a setup program for microtek not just driver installation
