: : the Scanner driver (the only i got from the web are

: Hello,

: the same problem - and I found a solution from M. Ruebig. Here´s the
: description:

: 1) Install old Windows NT Driver (Mustek V 2.0).
: 2) Notify the name of the Driver sys-File which is located in
: %Systemroot%\System32\driver (normally c:\winnt\\System32\driver)
: and the name can be either a4sii300.sys or ab306p.sys.
: 3) Install now the scanner Driver for an UMAX 610 P Scanner - this
: driver is includet in Windows 2000. (Installation with Crontrol panel/Scanner and
: Cameras... normal procedure).
: 4) Start registry Editor (regedit.exe). Search for "umaxpcls.sys" and replace this
: entry with the driver you notified in 2).
: 5) Restart W2k.
: 6) Now you have 2 Scanners installed - you´ll see them in your application.
: The Mustek works - the umax of course not.

: That´s it - strange - and even more strange for me that someone has found
: a workaround - well done!

Hello,

anyone of you guys knows how to solve the same problem for the MFC-600S Paragon II (SCSI) ? Since the drivers copied by the installation programs are a bunch of .dll files (and not a single .sys file) plus a .ds (datasource for Twain) file I really don't know how to solve that !! Please HELP ME !!
Thanx

Giuseppe
