My Tamarack fs 2400 is running under XP. I used DocuMan v. 3.0; I installed DocuMan at first, then plugged in the USB cable and followed the plug & play directives. If you must run it by serial or parallel port: use the xp scanner installation wizard; it knows the Tamarack 2400 film scanner.
However, I did not succeed to use a HP Scanjet 2200c with USB interface together with the Tamarack fs. After I had installed the Tamarack once, I could not at all install the Scanjet. The class installation program refuses to install the Scanjet, even after having deinstalled the Tamarack fs.
