I just upgraded my system to a faster processor, new motherboard, hard drive, and Windows 2000 O/S (formerly Win98). Installed my scanner driver and it reported that everything was ok.

Also installed Ulead scanning software, iPhotoPlus 4 (came with scanner) and Textbridge Classic.

When I try to scan with either program, I get "scanner not found" then immediately I hear the scanner kick in.

I suspect the new processor (950 Mhz) is faster and runs through the programming before the electronic system is able to access the scanner.

Anyone know a fix for this?
