HP are excellent for support you can find all you need on their website.

Goto www.hp.com type scan3300c into search and follow first link
http://www.hp.com/cposupport/scanners/support_doc/nps00118.html

donload the new HP software update from
http://www.hp.com/cposupport/scanners/software/sj514en.exe.html

The latest driver is on the CD, If you have lost your CD order one from
https://warp2.external.hp.com/Driver/dr_country_select.asp?Product=C7687-15409
