: My optic pro 4830 worked well till I upgraded to win98, from win95, then I thought perhaps the computer was too slow so I upgraded to P3 600mhz from p1 200mhz. No luck. I cant scan or print. My printer is connected to the CPU via the scanner as the manual says. If I disconnect the scanner and connect the printer directly to LPT1 printing occurs normally. When the scanner was connected, I could print via dos with dos programs, but not with windows
