: Does such a driver exist for WIN98 and the QMS PS 820 Turbo laser printer? If so where can I get a copy ?
Here you can find one:
1.)
Download the file: "QMS.exe" file from:
ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/printerdrivers/win/all/ppdfiles/qms.exe

2.) Download the following two files
"aps102eng.txt" and the Universal Installer
"aps102eng.exe"
from:
ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/printerdrivers/win/drivers/
and read the text file first.

3) Put the "Qms.exe" in a temporary a (empty) directory and click on the self-extrakting "QMS.exe" , the content will extracted in the directory
for example: c:\temp
and will look as c:\temp\adobe\qms

4) Start the installation programm "aps102eng.exe" and follow the installation procedure. When asked for the driver, then link to the directory c:\temp\adobe\qms (or where you have extracted the .ppd-files)
and choose your printer model from the files.

5) End Installation and reboot your system. Then the printer should work.
Note also, that some QMS printers need to be configured by a small DOS-based programm, the "psexec"-program, otherwise the system can┤t talk to the printer.

Hope your printer works well now.
