: : I have an existing printer (Panasonic KX-P1124i)that I use for an old accounting system (DOS) for my church. I have upgraded my computer to Windows 98 (GatewayE3400) and since then, when I set up my printer, with the driver that comes with Win98, the output is scrambled when printed.

: : I have set up the printer several times, and on two occasions the test page printed successfully, however, after that nothing but junk printed.

: : Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

: Make sure the emulation is set to Epson. When this printer is set to IBM Proprinter emulation, the printer drivers will not work!!

Try setting your printer port to standard paralell port in your BIOS settings. Do not use EPP or ECP on the port. Usually pressing the DEL key while booting will allow your to enter your BIOS. That is the only way mine will work.
