: : I have a HP 1.6 Windows XP computer and just bought Epson Inkjet C80 printer. Tried using instructions included for xp but computer went into some loop that kept shutting down the system. I did system recovery. Went to Epson site and downloaded current drivers, installed them, crashed again. Any suggestions?

: I had the exact same problem but what I did wasx actually explore the cd and find the folder that said "drivers" I then found the setup file, right clicked it and then went to the compatability tab. I set the compatability mode to windows 2000 and it worked great. Hope that helps.

I had the same problem. I even had to reformat the hard drive, uninstall didn't help. I have an HP Pavilion 750. What kind of computer do you have?
