Our site has over 7 Color printers in use for various users. We upgraded from 98 to NT. When this was done there were no HP 820Cxi drivers for NT. Finally we got one. Our HPs worked fine.

We upgraded to Windows 2000 and the problem
re-surfaces. Our HP 820Cxi printers have all sorts of problems with printing (stop printing in the middle, not printing at all, ...)

Going to HP website to get a driver is like one big circle.

Personally, I think that manufacturers who produce hardware (or Operating System) products without drivers for known hardware/os should be avoided.

It is a waste of equipment and human resources to have to go through a hunt/install process.

Any upgrades of any OS or hardware do not seem to be worth any effort for the "little" bit extra tools, whistles, and horns that might be gained.

If anyone knows of how or where to get a HP 820Cxi to work on Windows 2000; please let me know.
