Thanks goes out to Russ Wright's Canon Support Page for this one.

Load the BJC-4200 Driver from Canon or Russ
Set your printer to DOS printing this way.
Press the function key on the Multipass
Press 0 on the Numeric keyboard
use right arrow key to scroll to DOS printing
press Start/Copy key twice. Display will read "Printer Mode"

Your printer will work fine but my incoming faxes do not seem to work. Outgoing faxes and copying still work but after performing a fax or copying function I need to put in back in DOS printing mode to print.

Not perfect but it beats buying a new printer!
