Did you ever find out the answer to this one? i'm having the same problem...
: I just purchased a Lexmark X73 All-in-one inkjet printer. The printer portion works fine, but the scan/copy function isn't working. The error message is:
: "c:\winnt\twain_32.dll is not a valid windows image."
: The service tech at Lexmark says this is a MS problem.
: Checked the MS website to see what I could find out, and discovered something interesting (maybe). The twain_32.dll on my machine is version 184.108.40.206 -- since I'm running Win200Pro, the site says that I should have version 220.127.116.11. Could this cause my problems? I have sp1/sp2 loaded. Could that have caused it? The Lexmark software includes a twain_32.dll driver. Can I just copy it over the top of the one in the winnt folder?
: As you can tell, I'm not sure about drivers and don't want to totally crash my system.
: Thanks for the help.
