I just purchased a Lexmark X73 All-in-one inkjet printer. The printer portion works fine, but the scan/copy function isn't working. The error message is:
"c:\winnt\twain_32.dll is not a valid windows image."
The service tech at Lexmark says this is a MS problem.
Checked the MS website to see what I could find out, and discovered something interesting (maybe). The twain_32.dll on my machine is version -- since I'm running Win200Pro, the site says that I should have version Could this cause my problems? I have sp1/sp2 loaded. Could that have caused it? The Lexmark software includes a twain_32.dll driver. Can I just copy it over the top of the one in the winnt folder?
As you can tell, I'm not sure about drivers and don't want to totally crash my system.
Thanks for the help.
