: you may need to install the additional hp pcl drivers for the win9x print server. once installed set the printer to use the new pcl drivers in the nec control panel. set the new pcl printer to be shared and the corect memorey settings in printer properties (conservative).
: the win2k box would add new network printer. map it to the shared pcl printer on the win9x print server, and install the hp 4p drivers.
: worked for me, had to play with the memorey setting to get rid of an error.

I firmly believe a behavior of sort by NEC will
have a big impact in the future.
