Canon Multipass C5000- normally works great. When I go online I can print only one request. Any request after that is refused... even after I disconnect. I've check (ctrl-alt-delete) and everything seems to be responding correctly. I shut down any potential programs... but the printer will not operate until I shut down the computer and start back up. I spoke (at length) to the Canon tech and we ran tests "must be a problem with ISP"! Earthlink swears that if the problem were on their end... it would stop when I disconnect.
My error messages:
"There was an error writing to the LPT1 for the printer (Canon Multipass C5000 Printer). There was a problem printing to the port. Check to make sure your printer is configured to use a valid port."
"Can not access port. It may be in use by another program. Quit all other programs and try printing again."
