Hi,
My friend also got the same problem when he installed the driver under XP.
I helped to try almost every ways.
Fortunately it works before it drives me mad.

The compatibilty mode(the function to simulate old version Windows) does not work in this case though it normally does.

The problem is that XP can not detect the driver itself if you install it according to the instruction. It may be due to the deficiency of the poor driver. But XP IS somewhat selfish sometimes due to the so-called security and
stability reason.

So I did it as follows:

1. Do not use the Autorun to install both PhotoExpress and minicam driver at the same time. You can install the Photoexpress first. If the driver is already on your computer. You'd better uninstall it.

2. Then insert the disk again. Do not install anything at this moment. Connect your minicam with your PC. The XP has the ability to detect new device, and search the drive itself. Let it do that. You can follow the wizard.

3. When XP finds and prepares to install it, it may warn you that this driver is for older version wondows operation system and if you install it it may make your PC unstable. If you decide to take the risk, just install it. After this is done, my friend's minicam works!!

Hope it works for you also.
Glad to receive your response.
