you could use an old trick I have been using years, very succesfully. Back up your inf folder and system and system32 folders to a different partition, when you need a driver choose the have disk method and browse to your backed up inf folder, it wont find the files 'cos it will look in the current system directory so just point it back to your copy. It never fails.
