I've just had a similar problem with the DSC S75 camera driver install. It can be rectified by A).Insert the Sony driver disk, find "ati_hal.dll" and copy it onto desktop. B) Rename the file hal.dll C). Drop the file into the Windows\System folder with all the other DLL's. On running Norton again all should be OK.
