If its connected via USB and it should be, then explorer can pick up the pics for you, hook it up and open a windows explorer window and look at the drive listing, while its plugged in there should be a new drive letter with a square icon called 'USB mass storage device' this is where your data is just copy it across to a folder.
I hate to be picky, but its not a JVC camera driver that does the job, its an adapter driver for a Digital imaging device.
