i can tell for sure this is not a motherboard related trouble: i was having problems with some cards, replaced them and after some testing put the original config back to its previous state, and, while this *NEVER* happened before, now i'm having this issue only and exclusively with my sound card. i tried several possible solutions, like updating drivers, using the old ones, changing the soundcard's slot... nothing worked, of course. should anyone know something about this, i'll be sure to greet him with a smile
