the problem isn't easily fixed with more RAM, the VMM driver is a virtual memory manager that utilizes the hard drive as more RAM. i got the same VMM error the first time i installed win98 and i only had 32mb RAM, i reinstalled win98 with the same 32mb RAM and viola it worked. and what if this person listens to your bum idea and trys to replace his RAM and static charges his motherboard and frys his system. then what brainiack? are you going to buy him a new system? i doubt it cuz you sound like a 14 year old with your lack of computer knowledge, no offense. but i think you need to read more books and get more hands on training before you answer anymore tech questions ok bro? thanks.
