: Need a driver for Win 2K. Cab Somewhere help me?

Hi,

I recently salvaged an old Pentium 100 clone. I have a tiny Ethernet LAN at home w/ 5 computers and I wanted to add this pc to my LAN. The computer had a Token Ring network card which I removed. So I looked through my surplus cards hoping to find an ethernet card and came across an old ethernet NIC (Network Interface Card). It had written on it "GTS H05U09S", but it's controller chip was labeled "RTL8029(AS)" If your card is the same, you can get a good driver for the RTL (Realtek) chip from the chip maker's website. The URL is: http://www.realtek.com.tw/htm/download/cgi/DLd1.cgi?model=RTL8029(AS)&type=2

PS I took pictures of this card and of the chips. I will be adding them to my home page soon in a small story about NIC and my experiences with this new/old pc I salvaged.

Thank you,
Leo Puig
