: Check this out:

: site and tell me if u know how to change the Phoenix Bios settings.

: : Hello,

: : I can't get my Sitecom PCMCIA network card to work under Windows 2000 on my laptop (Compaq Presario 1200 - 12XL403). However it works fine under Windows ME.

: : I downloaded the "softpaq" from Compaq website to update the ROM (they say it fixes some PCMCIA bug under Windows 2000) but it still won't work.

: : In fact, Windows 2000 can detect the PCMCIA port and it can detect my network card. After assigning IP parameters to the card, I can see my Presario in the Network Neighborhood but I don't have a connection with other PCs. When I "ping" them, it founds nothing on the network. And when I "ping" from them, they won't find the Presario (but it works fine between my other desktops).

: : Please help !
