Help...i am having problems installing WIN9x/NT PCMCIA drivers on various machines. The windows install wizard always reports the driver files cannot be found though they are in the CD drive or a:\drive. When i specify the location, this does not help. The machine then prompts me to put in the Win 98CD, this makes no difference, as it cannot find the required files on the CD. It comes up with a funny pathname for the loaction of the files (C:\windows\VGA\ though they are not there.sometimes i'll write C:\windows\system\ and it finds the files, sometimes it does not.
when the cad installs and i reboot the machine, it tells me some .vxd and .redir file are missing . Also msnp32.dll is also missing so mocrosoft networking is unavailable...What could be wrong.
