I was in the same boat as you. I even contacted Lankom to request the driver. What I learned is that Lankom does not make a NIC, it makes transformers and other IC's that it sells to NIC manufacturers such as 3com, Dlink, and Accton. So you need to find out the manufacturer of your particular NIC.

There are leads on the NIC itself you could try. If you have a 3com NIC, for example, the company logo and NIC model are plainly displayed on the card, so it's just a matter of getting the driver from the manufacturer's Web site. But other NICs don't identify themselves so clearly. Here are some additional ideas.

First, look at the NIC's bar code. Ignore the 10-digit number; it won't help. Look for another number, such as "32P-R." Try running a search for that number, along with the word(s) "driver" and/or "nic." You might get leads that way.

A second search, which I found more to the point, would be to examine the other (non-Lankom) large chips on the NIC. Look for identifying codes, such as "RTL8029AS." Search for that. If you selected the main IC, you should at least find the chipset's manufacturer, who should have a driver that works for you.

Let me know if any of this is unclear. If so, I'll give you an example of a search I recently did.
