So...where is the genius site you had no luck
with? The first one I found was

http://www.genius-kye.com/

...where I quickly found a single www page with
lots of their network card drivers available.

Then I found this site (with no downloads):

http://http://www.kye.co.uk/

...which then gave me links to two download sites:

http://www.geniusnet.com.tw/download/download_index.htm

http://www.genius.kye.de/service/treiber-e.html

...which both seem OK. That's three sites with
drivers. I recommend the one in Taiwan (.tw).
Still, I do not see a GR1222 here...

I didn't find a driver because my card is not
identifed except by a Genius Lan controller chip.
The unmarked jumpers will be little help, either.
My card may have been made by or for another
company...your's too, perhaps?

If anyone can identify this card: 16-bit ISA
NIC with 10Base2 and 10BaseT, a internal AUI
expansion connector (!), Controller chip =
Genius LAN K1304045 62075S1 612F TAIWAN,
FCC Class A, Model of Board number =
K0236002 V1.0, a 28-pin .300" RAM chip # =
UM61256FK-15, with a JP1 that is just labeled
"JUMPER" (s'true!), three jumpers labeled IRQ
(but not which) at JP2, a JP4 with 4 (ganged?)
jumpers labeled "I/O", and 5 jumpers (also
ganged?) labeled "BOOT ROM". Oh, there is a
bar-code label on the rear that is marked
"E21 147147". There are two LEDs between the
RJ45 and the BNC (Green and Yellow LEDs), no
labels.

This is hardly worth the trouble, but if this
is something you can identify please copy this
message with whatever you know to:

Thanks!
