: I have the same DSL modem on my PC and I am running 98se. I have yet to have a problem.

: Have you, by, any chance pulled the 3060 from the PCI slot you had it ORIGINALLY installed in, and placed it another? If so, I'd be willing to wager that's where your difficulty lies. PCI devices are VERY particular about what you do with them. One VERY big "no-no" is do not install the a device, then move it to another slot, afterward.

: You can remove the PnP BIOS in your system, under Control Panel. This will basically tell the computer that it has to find ALL hardware over again, and it will "forget" where what was installed, originally. That's the only way I know to make it work correctly, with the exception of reinstalling Windows.

: Incidentally, I am using the driver that came with the modem, but it is signed as a Microsoft driver, not a Speedstream driver. If you are interested in my e-mailing these drivers to you, I can do so. It would take some extra time to logon via an analogue modem and download the drivers, for you, but well worth it if it works.

: E-mail me if you are interested.

: Good luck!

Have you guys tried installing the updated Drivers from Efficient
