I have been trying to get the beta 2000 drivers
for the 4060/BellSouth DSL to work correctly.. so far
I have accomplished loading the drivers successfully -
ie- modem is in Sync with line but again... When going
to Effecientnetworks.com to download the drivers I did
not see any available for bellsouth.. but for other services yes- ie southwestern bell, pacbell etc...
I downloaded the ones "specified" for southwestern bell.. I thought hey,, it can't be that different, can it? Well I had a quick talk with bellsouth tech
support and he said those drivers would get the modem
to function correctly but as far as having all the correct strings and scripting for bellsouth's DSL network- that is where the problems would lie.. Said
if I knew programming or how to rewrite the drivers I
may be able to get it to work... Does anyone know if
this is possible? Or more accuratly - how one would
go about getting Bellsouth DSL service through any of
the available Beta 2000 drivers?

Has anyone even had any luck getting Bellsouth DSL through Win2000?

Thank You,
