what version is the driver you're trying? the drivers on disk i got with my mobo (pcchips 810) work fine with xp. top line from my .inf shows "Product Name: HSP56 MicroModem
; Manufacturer: PCtel, Inc
; Driver Version: R8.00-9K Build 0005
; Copyright 1999 PCtel, Inc" any probs, mail me at jayroller , of course, at, hot mail dot com (if u cant work it out, dont bother ;-) ) and i'll send u the ones that work for me (xp bld 2600 sp1a)
