Hi, I have a MD5628 HAM Ambient(Intel) Modem and an XP system. It works with the drivers from the intel site, but it does not work at the advertised 56k. I don't mean it works only at 52k, it connects at only 31.2. It's not a problem of the modem at the other side because I've tried other modems. Aditionally, compression doesn't seem to be working, both W2k and XP say the incomming compression it's 0, yet the outgoing is something like 30%. Have any of you had this problem?
