I am having a strange problem with my mouse. It starts behaving erratically all of a
suuden, resulting in a disturbed desktop(either closing the acting window,
changing the size of the active window, opening an inactive window, opening any new window, giving right button response on pressing left button etc.). It all
of a sudden clicks or right clicks here and there many times on its own. It
was originally working quite well.
Please reply my querries :
1. Is my system virus infected.(I have scanned my system with
Mcfaee(online), AVG 6.0 free, Norton antivirus 2001 with latest updates, all
the three did not find any virus).
2. Is there any problem with the drivers of the mouse. (I have tried to
change my mouse drivers provided in windows 95 from device manager to compaq
PS/2, Logitech PS/2, I have even tried to remove my mouse from device
manager and redetect the mouse from detect new hardware with the mentioned
drivers). I am not having my original mouse driver files.
3. I have even tried finally deleting all *mouse*.* files and reinstalling the mouse, using fresh mouse.drv and mouse.vxd files.
4. Please give me the solution to the problem(I have tried my best but could
not solve the problem) and links to get my mouse driver files.
