If you are receiving the above mentioned error message, you might have to enable the Direct Draw on your PC. Please perform the steps given below to be able to enable DirectDraw on the PC.

Win 98/ME:

1. Click on Start Menu.
2. Click on Programs.
3. Click on Accessories.
4. Click on System Tools.
5. Click on System Information.
6. Click on Tools and select DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
7. Click on the Display tab.
8. Click the Enable button next to Dirct Draw Acceleration.
9. Click OK.
10. Now click on the Enable Button next to Direct3D Acceleration.
11. Click Ok and Exit.

Win XP:

1. Click on Start Menu.
2. Click onAll Programs.
3. Click on Accessories.
4. Click on System Tools.
5. Click on System Information.
6. Click on Tools and select DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
7. Click on the Display tab.
8. Click the Enable button next to Dirct Draw Acceleration.
9. Click OK.
10. Now click on the Enable Button next to Direct3D Acceleration.
11. Click Ok and Exit.
